My enduring passion for drawing in all its forms has consistently captivated me.
Although I have experimented with various mediums such as acrylic, ink, drawing, and sculpture, soft pastel remains my favorite.
I cherish the direct contact with this medium, continuously exploring its possibilities.
While initially focusing on character portraits, I gradually shifted towards close-up depictions of animals.
I am particularly intrigued by capturing the eyes of the animals I paint.
After years of dedicated research, I have developed a specific procedure to fix the pastel and varnish.
As far as I am aware, I am the only pastel artist in Quebec to adopt this technique.
