Biografia
Massimo Mugavero é nato nel 1960 a Roma, vive e lavora a Frascati in provincia di Roma. Durante l’ultimi anni, ha prodotto circa cinquanta lavori pittorici, attraversando le correnti artistiche moderne e approdando all’ informale materico/signico. Ha realizzato una esposizione personale e 4 collettive. La sua fertile produzione artistica attraverso l’arte continua combinando sostanzialmente una eclettica attività di studio, ricerca e sperimentazione. Mugavero dice di se:
"Ho manifestato presto un' inclinazione naturale al disegno ed in seguito alla pittura acquisendo spontaneamente nozioni ed esperienze legate ad una tradizione familiare di pittori autodidatti. Ho frequentato i seminari di pittura; la pittura intuitiva, il plein air e l'action painting, hanno intensificato la mia formazione influenzando nuove ragioni espressive. Da sempre prediligo la pittura ad olio e seguo un mio percorso appartato teso soprattutto ad esprimere la mia realtà interiore. "…Si sprigiona così una nuova energia dal suo colore e dal significato che mi costringe ad essere, in assoluta libertà, una scelta purissima…"

“Solo al di là dello specchio della nostra anima si può percepire una delle realtà che accade ogni giorno sotto i nostri occhi, ovvero dentro l'inganno della nostra inquietudine che combatte la sfida quotidiana della vita. Forse proprio qui nel solco musicale di questa sensazione ho incontrato il mio linguaggio visivo. Un percorso estetico pensato in un'atmosfera di contaminazioni fra pensieri materici e metamorfosi di esperienze diverse. Negli ultimi lavori assemblo sentieri plastici di luci ed ombre costruite a strati materici, come a strati metaforici è costruita la nostra vita”.
“Oggetti trovati, plastica , colore , sono la grammatica di una mia spiritualità del visibile. La propria libertà creativa è dentro di noi, dentro il rischio delle nostre storie che penetrano in realtà ancestrali senza tempo ne ordine”.
“Il mio tentativo é proporre un messaggio avulso da convenzioni stereotipate, una ricerca dietro la distanza delle cose, verità nascoste dall'eleganza di colori flluidi. Fluiscono i raffinati accordi e contrapposizioni dove non esistono limiti e contorni che possono limitare il gesto dell'opera. I mie segni-lacerazioni dalle quali riesco a proiettare quasi inaspettate immagini del mio inconscio sporcando di colore quello del pubblico."


Biography
Massimo Mugavero was born in 1960 in Rome, he lives and works in Frascati town in the Province of Rome.

During last years, he has produced about fifty pictorials works, crossing all the most important modern artistic currents landing to informal abstract, realizing five exhibitions. His fertile production through the figurative arts has continuously been combined with a substantial and eclectic activity of study, search, experimentation. Mugavero said of himself:
“I have soon manifested a natural predisposition to drawing and later on to painting, acquiring spontaneously slight knowledge and experiences tied to a familiar tradition of self-taught painters. I have attended the painting seminaries (the intuition painting, plein air and the action painting) it’s has intensified my formation influencing new expressive reasons. Above all I prefer painting acrylic and oil; I follow my secluded path that tends towards, above all to express mine inner truth. So a new energy comes given off from its color and from your meaning that forces me to being, in absolute freedom, the purest choice... ".
“At the opposite side of the mirror of our soul can be perceive one of the realities that happen every day under our eyes, it’s within the deceit of our anxiety that fights the daily challenge of the life. Perhaps just here in the musical furrow of this feeling, I have met my visual language. An aesthetic journey thought in an atmosphere of contaminations between material thoughts and metamorphosis of various experiences. In my last jobs I have assemble plastic paths of lights and shadows out of to material layers, as metaphor layers our life is constructed”.
“Recovered objects, plastic, color are the grammar of my own spirituality of the visible.The creative freedom is inner of us, within the risk of our histories that penetrate in ancestral truths without time and order”.
“My attempt is to propose a message out from stereotyped conventions, a search behind the distance of the things, truth hidden from the elegance of fluid colors. Refined harmonies flow to contrasts where limits and contours don’t exist that can limit the gesture of the work. My signs-lacerations from which I’m able to create nearly unexpected images of my unconscious soiling of color people’s.”
