Cette sculpture est Inspirée d'un mythe des indiens Jivaro
le soleil et la lune vivaient jadis sur la terre. Ils avaient même logis et même femme. Celle-ci s’appelait Aôho ( Engoulevent ).
Elle aimait son mari le soleil mais fuyait son second mari dont le contact trop froid lui déplaisait. Une querelle éclatât,
les deux maris montèrent au ciel grimpant le long d'une liane qui unissait alors les deux mondes. Aôho voulut les rejoindre,
Lune la fit tomber avec son panier plein d'argile qui se répandit sur le sol. Morte elle devint l'oiseau dont elle portait le nom.
Telle est l'origine de la jalousie conjugale et de la terre à poterie.
