Not only spring, but also summer was stolen from the people of Ukraine. In this work, I wanted to convey sadness over the fact that the beaches of the Ukrainian resort city of Odessa are completely closed due to the danger of military aggression by Russia.

Not only spring, but also summer was stolen from the people of Ukraine. In this work, I wanted to convey sadness over the fact that the beaches of the Ukrainian resort city of Odessa are completely closed due to the danger of military aggression by Russia.
People who live in Ukraine with constant air alarms are very psychologically tired, but do not have the opportunity to relax on the beaches.
But we believe in the victory of light over darkness, in the victory of Ukraine and the entire civilized world over Russia.

Andrii Kovalyk, a Ukrainian traveling artist, was born in 1986 in the city of Chernivtsi, Ukraine. He received a professional icon painting education, during his studies he copied ancient icons in some of the largest museums. During his studies and several years later, he painted churches and painted icons. But in 2018, he decided to fulfill his old dream of a round-the-world trip. Since then, he has been traveling almost non-stop on a bicycle in different countries all the world and painting from nature.
Through travels, he gets to know himself and the world around him, and with the help of painting he tries to convey the whole range of emotions and impressions from the stories that happen enough during his travels.
Participant and prize winner of international exhibitions and competitions.
Paintings and icons are kept in private collections in the USA, United Kingdom, other countries of Europe and the world.
Now lives and travels in Spain.
