Stephane Dillies is a contemporary French artist whose work delves into the realm of reality, seeking to unveil aspects of our surroundings that often go unnoticed due to either concealment or familiarity. Born in April 1975, Dillies graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, Belgium, and has since made Brussels his home and artistic base.

His artistic journey is characterized by a deep exploration of discarded materials found in urban environments, which serve as his primary medium. Dillies meticulously selects and combines these materials—ranging from shiny plastics and acetates to magazine covers and various packaging—to create thought-provoking compositions that challenge societal norms and consumerist culture.
