Song of Solomon
Not only in the Bible, but already in the ancient Orient and especially in Egypt, love poetry was widespread and also shaped the "Song of Songs", as part of the Old Testament. The pyramids in the background and the many fertility symbols from different cultures point to the universality of the theme. People from all over the world flock and gather around an oasis as if to share in the happiness and lust of the lovers. After all, don't we all long for it? In addition to bursting life, there are numerous symbols of death and decay. It's all part of life. "Seize the day" and "Remember that you are dying". We don't have to wait for paradise in the afterlife, the paradise of lustful life can also be found on earth.
