Clarisse, born in Porto, 1996, fell in love with everything that could be art. Vague or very specific poems, enchanting piano melodies or disturbing electric guitar chords, dried autumn flowers and painting with everything that’s not a brush.
All creations are abstract. Self taught in all areas, with the intention of no beginning and definitely no end.
Clarisse’s painting style is free. There’s no accurate description of the canvas, techniques or paints being used, as their composition is widely loose.
Clarisse’s work is a statement on itself. It leads you to question what’s art and what’s not. And with such relative question, the final interpretation becomes obsolete, as the process of experiencing it is far more relevant.
