The painting "Back to the Stone Age" is made in the style of a mosaic.
For the first time, the painting was exhibited in 2019 in Moscow at the personal exhibition of the artist "Imprint". The mosaic is made of keyboard keys and smalt. With this choice of material, the artist wanted to show the irony of human dependence on the Internet. The keys from the keyboard are a symbol of information about thoughts and words that are transmitted through the Internet space. Gradually they turn
in stones that do not carry any information.

Dinosaurs once roamed the earth, millions of years later they turned into minerals, including oil, which is made of plastic.
In the work, the artist used plastic keys and stone as a symbol of dependence and interconnectedness, the past from the present, people from technology, man from the Internet.

Anastasiia Comicada is a contemporary Russian artist whose journey into the world of art has been as diverse as it is vibrant. In 2003, she enrolled at the University of Moscow State University in Magnitogorsk, where she pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design and easel graphics. Following her studies, Comicada ventured into the realm of digital design, working as a UI and UX designer for a website and application development company. Despite her daytime commitments, Anastasiia dedicated her evenings to developing characters for various companies and creating short humorous comics and animated videos, which she shared on social networks under the pseudonym Comicada.

In 2019, Comicada collaborated with writer Vladimir Glukhovsky as an illustrator for the graphic novel "The Post". The following year, she achieved another milestone by publishing a book of short comics titled "Blondiana" in collaboration with the publishing house Bombora. Comicada's artistic prowess continued to garner recognition, leading to her participation in three comic book collections—titled "Ship", "Big Mood", and "Humania"—under the direction of TheDaneMen artist, Dvid Daneman, based in Montréal, Canada.

Comicada's artistic journey reached new heights with the debut of her Imprint project, which saw its first personal exhibition held in Moscow in 2019 at the Skolkovo Innovation Center. The exhibition not only showcased Comicada's talent but also marked the sale of her first painting in the series. In 2022, Comicada's paintings were featured in the joint exhibition "NFT Acceptance Stage" in Moscow, further solidifying her presence in the contemporary art scene.

Currently residing and working in Georgia, Comicada's artworks have transcended geographical boundaries, finding their way into private collections across the United States, Australia, England, France, and other countries. With her distinctive style and dynamic creativity, Anastasiia Comicada continues to captivate audiences worldwide with her captivating visual narratives.
