LE problème de l'humanité.
Hélas, j'ai l'impression (et je ne suis pas la seule) que la majorité des personnes ne sont pas conscients que nous allons vers notre destruction.
L'homme, si intelligent, est devenu un nuisible qui détruit tout sur son chemin. La[...]
"Le Nuisible" parle du changement climatique.
LE problème de l'humanité.
Hélas, j'ai l'impression (et je ne suis pas la seule) que la majorité des personnes ne sont pas conscients que nous allons vers notre destruction.
L'homme, si intelligent, est devenu un nuisible qui détruit tout sur son chemin. La terre brule! (Les 3 dernières années avec des étés insupportablement chauds et pauvre en pluies, m'ont profondément marqué).
Il y a une forme de schizophrénie chez l'humain: D'un coté on nous dit de consommer (pour préserver les emplois je suppose) et de l'autre c'est exactement cela qui va causer notre perte. C'est un cercle vicieux.
Ce tableau parle aussi de la souffrance animale. Nous détruisons aussi leur espace de vie.

The problem of humanity.
Alas, I have the impression (and I am not the only one) that the majority of people are not aware that we are going towards our destruction.
Humains, so intelligent, has become a pest that destroys everything in its path. The earth is burning! (The last 3 years with unbearably hot summers and poor in rains, have deeply marked me).
There is a form of schizophrenia in humans: On the one hand we are told to consume (to preserve jobs I guess) and on the other it is exactly that which will cause our loss. It’s a vicious cycle.
This painting also talks about animal suffering. We are also destroying their living space.

Elke Thiébaut is a German contemporary self-taught artist. She is above all a figurative painter, but abstraction is still part of her field of experimentation.
Thiébaut tells stories in his painting which is influenced by Renaissance painters, Mannerism, Art Nouveau, German Expressionists; but also contemporary hyperrealism.
His favorite technique is oil for the figurative and acrylic for the abstract.
His works can be found with collectors in many countries such as France, the USA, Great Britain, Italy, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, etc.
She has lived and worked in France since 1994.
