A man, who considered himself inferior because of his otherness, found a voice,
thanks to the crowd that shares his thoughts and feelings.
But there are still people with gender bias.
The artwork depicts a young man in a relaxed pose, he got rid of the burden
that poisoned him. He is alone but does not look lonely due to the fact that
in a difficult duel with the society he did not lose himself and realized his own
value, even if his feelings were considered a mistake. He is a monochrome image,
behind which all the colors of the rainbow play.
The struggle in which he defended his right to his own colors was left behind by
a bright red line. But he crossed it and kept himself. We are all just people
who want to love and be loved. This artwork is a reminder that no one in this
world is alone, he has himself and people who respect the chosen path.

Elvira Venko is a contemporary Russian painter. In 2018, she made a pivotal decision to leave her role as Deputy Director of Strategic Management at a seaport and devote more time to her passion for painting, focusing on subjects close to her heart, such as architecture and people. Concurrently, she pursued her interest in interior design, ultimately finding it to be her preferred profession, providing both income and fulfillment.
By 2023, she had completed two series of paintings, with conceptualism becoming her primary artistic direction. Her creative process begins with the birth of an idea or thought, which then materializes into an image skillfully transferred onto the canvas. Through her art, Elvira Venko delves into her own experiences in the modern world, striving to understand the challenges faced by today's youth and offering insightful responses to prevailing questions. Her work serves as an exploration of contemporary themes, reflecting her profound engagement with the world around her.
