Une de mes versions du "Combat de Jacob" sur Google a été remarquée par un papa désireux d'offrir, pour ses 18 ans, à son fils qui venait de vaincre un cancer contre lequel il s'était battu pendant un an, cette représentation symbolique. Me priant d'insister sur la ressemblance, il m'a donc communiqué plusieurs photos d'Alex et m'a fait confiance. Ce fut un grand défi, vu certaines exigences, par exemple que l'Ange (appelé alors l'Ange de la Mort) soit «féroce mais pas lugubre». Dur dur...Dans une entière liberté, il m'a fallu résoudre ambiance, lumière, paysage, vêtement.
Le résultat fut trouvé "superbe", je suis comblé ! Cette réalisation fut un combat dont je suis sorti vainqueur, heureux...et toutes proportions gardées, un peu comme Alex le victorieux.
