The Man From Nowhere may not directly address all these philosophical questions, but it's an example of how portrait studies and storytelling in art can inspire us to think deeply about the nature of our existence and the complexities of our desires and relationships.
This large portrait study in oil is one of six in my “The Other Side" series. The series is an expression of love and fear through portraiture. In each painting I touch on how we may allow these emotions direct how we interact, and how we can allow choices made based on these feelings can define us, even perhaps in the moment..
