Photo hunting water fowls on an inland lake, i suddenly became aware of several ducks heading my way. Camera was set to work on a tri-pod, and was actually mounted on it. So when the ducks turned sharply to my right, I just snapped several shots in their direction - being somewhat hampered by the tri-pod. None of the shots came out sharp, and as such it was a failure. However, the dynamics of this one spoke for itself, and clarity was not an object.
Mallard ducks landing on a lake.
Transferred to black and white. No sharpening, just luminosity and contrast adjustments in PS

I am a Norwegian amateur photographer who lives in Denmark. Landscapes of all sorts are my favorite, and the images come from all around where I have been.

I am most fascinated by the ever changing light, that when it reflects from a surface can take any of the rainbow's colours. Therefore I strive to capture this light in my pictures, and by carefully make the necessary adjustments, shapes and moods appear as I think I saw them when shooting.

I use a Canon EOS 5 II - that is not just new, but does me good service, and several high quality lenses; Canon, Tamron, Zeiss, Sigma, Meyer (Trioplan).

All my images reside in the cloud, that is BackBlaze (which is the best storage to me), as well as a couple of redundant SSD storages.
