Amazing Citizen Series - 2 Painting by Juan Petry

Juan feels truly European and he works and lives in several countries that are all home to him. He believes that the unifying identity of the future Europe will be created through its cultural diversity, and that this new identity could provide a utopian blueprint for other parts of the world.

With art being a central part of the concept of culture the aim of Juan’s art is to visualise this identity now, thus helping to advance the process of identity creation.

Juan is the founder of the gallery Casa del Dragon and of the European art network EL-DRAC. More recently he started the first colour garden, as part of sevengardens, a UNESCO certified project in Spain.
