Kekli is a contemporary French artist. Kekli embarked on his artistic journey in the 1990s, immersing himself in the vibrant world of hip-hop culture through graffiti. As time went on, a distinctive character began to occupy a significant space in his artwork the "Boyo," a yellow-headed figure adorned with a frozen smile. Kekli proudly showcases these creations on the streets of Paris and various other cities across France. 

Through drawing, stenciling, pasting, and painting, he brings his characters with wide smiles to life, paying homage to the beloved heroes of his childhood and the iconic figures of pop culture. These cheerful expressions scattered throughout the city streets serve a purpose - to inspire smiles and elicit reactions from passers-by, even if only for a fleeting moment, providing a temporary respite from their daily routines. 

In March 2017, Kekli participated in the second edition of Boulevard du Graff on Boulevard Chasles in Chartres. This bustling boulevard served as a canvas for a group of talented graffiti artists, including Kekli, who showcased their live creations before an audience of onlookers. With six square meter tarps divided into triptychs at their disposal, they were able to freely express their artistic visions.
