Laurence réalise cette série d'abstraits dans le lâcher-prise, dans une sorte d'action-painting et dans l'énergie. C'est la raison pour laquelle elle aime particulièrement réaliser des grands formats.
Elle commence toujours ses toiles en les recouvrant entièrement de gesso noir, comme pour une "mise en condition".[...]

Elle commence toujours ses toiles en les recouvrant entièrement de gesso noir, comme pour une "mise en condition". Puis les couches de couleurs mélangées à la poudre de marbre -qui donne une belle matière mate- se superposent. L'artiste, travaille au très large couteau, gratte, efface en partie, recouvre à nouveau, la peinture suit son chemin de façon quasi autonome, c'est la main qui la guide. La peintre avoue qu'il lui est quelques fois difficile de s'arrêter et de considérer que sa toile est finie..
