My name is Lwazi "99". I was born and raised in South Africa. I am a self taught visual artist (collage art & digital art). I started practicing visual art at the age of 7.
I started creating collage artworks in 2017. I usually use old magazines to produce all of my collage artworks. Old magazines are my own form of paint or colour. My favourite element to experiment with is colour. I believe that adding colour is a way of conveying different emotions and messages.
I mostly look to the Nguni people for inspiration because they are traditional and have somehow kept to their ancient ways of doing things. African spirituality is also a subject I am exploring through my collage artworks.
