I often get asked, how come I‘m given to changing genres so easily.         And why not, for the sake of the obvious, since the „drawing genres“ are neither a Religion, nor the Family, or even less - Mother Russia.                 I would draw a parallel here with the vast variety cheese. Why do I have to love one particular kind? Even the wickedly good one. And all my life at that. For me to draw landscapes and abstract pieces alone is plain whitebread, same as savoring just my favorite Le Gruyère all my life. Or watching one and same TV serial till my dying day. Put simply, sticking to particular genres is not a matter of principle with me. Whereas, cusine, the product quality, on the other hand is a whole other story.                      

Меня часто спрашивают, почему я так легко смешиваю жанры?            А почему нет, ведь «рисовальные жанры» это не Религия, не Семья и даже не Родина. Я бы сравнила это с многообразием сортов сыра. Почему я должна любить только один сорт? Пусть даже самый вкусный. Причём всю жизнь. Для меня рисовать только пейзажи, или только абстракции скучно, также как всю жизнь есть только любимый груэр. Или смотреть всю жизнь один и тот же сериал. Проще говоря, разница в жанрах, для меня не принципиальна. А вот кухня, качество продукта - это совсем другой разговор.
