Original artwork "IN Red captivity"

A new series of works is devoted to the study of oneself from a new perspective. I decided that it was time to experiment a little and moved away from my favorite topics to a more interesting one for me. But fundamentally not mine. A little reflection on what happens to a person when he is alone with himself, alone. This story is mysterious and extremely individual. Multi-layered. I want to discover a new world by immersing myself in the owl "I". To see the versatility in it. A person can be anyone, how many personalities there are in him, how many qualities. A new series of works just on this topic. The inspiration for the paintings and drawings in this series was my feelings from a parental leave. On the one hand, it's a wonderful time that you devote to a new person, the most important person on the planet, but on the other hand, you plunge into total loneliness and a pool of self-reflection. The answers to all my questions have not been found, but my path lies through these works.

The art work is done in a mixed technique. The underpainting is drawn with a marker and filled with flowing watercolor. I worked out the details of the eyes with oil pastels and a simple pencil.

I love to combine different materials in my work. After all, it is not always possible to get the desired result by using only one material. In my works I often mix materials, I love such experiments. This is how interesting combinations of textures and textures are born, which you can look at for a long time. It's a real treat for the eyes.
