Mr. Brainwash (pseudonym of Thierry Guetta) is a French-born, Los Angeles-based street artist. Mr. Brainwash has been pushing the boundaries of modern art for more than a decade. His balancing act has been the planned collision of street art and pop art. Mr. Brainwash's breakthrough footage from the critically acclaimed documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop was the turning point for him. The evolution of the street art movement is depicted in this Academy Award-nominated film, which stars Mr. Brainwash, who, alongside Banksy, introduces the art to the masses.

Mr. Brainwash's creative and bold style rocked the art world. He creates larger-than-life shows and partnerships by combining aspects from pop art's history with the raw elements of his street art roots. He's worked on album covers for Madonna, Rick Ross, and KYGO, among others. He also worked with Pelé, a well-known soccer star who joined the artist in splattering paint on selected works of art.
