At around the turn of the century, I had the unique opportunity to stay in a house in the seaside village of Matunuck, RI. The house wasn't much to speak of, with no hot water and an outdoor shower. The place is a through back in history to the 40s or 50s. It's where you could walk across the street to the ocean, where a five-minute walk[...]
At around the turn of the century, I had the unique opportunity to stay in a house in the seaside village of Matunuck, RI. The house wasn't much to speak of, with no hot water and an outdoor shower. The place is a through back in history to the 40s or 50s. It's where you could walk across the street to the ocean, where a five-minute walk would take you to the local ice cream shop and, a few minutes more, would bring you to the town market. Most of the homes were built on rented land but, not this one. This one I called the Grand House of Matunuck.
