À PROPOS DE L'ARTISTE
Jeune, Pascaline Oury a suivi des cours de dessin et de peinture selon la méthode Martenot. Elle y a développé son appétit pour les couleurs et les formes, et l’incommensurable plaisir de créer.
Plus tard, elle découvre la sculpture au travers l’enseignement différencié de trois professeurs à Bruxelles.
Les trois dimensions deviennent pour elle une forme d’expression d’une infinie subtilité. La découverte de matières nouvelles stimule sa créativité.
En 2018, elle découvre le plexi dont elle fait un formidable allié pour faire naître des oeuvres à l’image de son état d’esprit : lumineuses, légères, colorées et porteuses de messages de vie qui la touchent.
Plus tard, elle découvre la placidité du bois de boulot et lui confère sa technique de Pictoplex.
Pour Pascaline Oury, il n’y a pas d’art sans émotion, et pas d’émotion sans sens. Chacune de ses oeuvres représente un message de vie qui lui est cher.
