Peïo is a contemporary artist experimenting various medium of art including oil on canvas, water-color, carving, graffitis, etc... Peïo started his artistic curriculum as a sing-songwriter wich resukted in recording two albums with talented musicians such as Sébastien Martel or Mamah Diabaté.

Peio has developed through the making of portraits a sensitive, poetic and colorful pictorial universe. The difference inspires Peio portraits wich is fueled by meeting newpeople or his travels abroad. Inspired by artists like Gauguin or Basquiat, his painting is used as a mean to picture the diversity of human emotions. these portraits are amix of techniques alluding Africa seen as a mystical continent cradle of humanity. The freedom of movement and the absence of a priori give his canvases energy, freedom and intensity. Peïo sees painting as a language and a way to give meaning to his life
