Pierre Martel, born in 1991, has forged his artistic path alongside his professional commitment to the elderly as a home care assistant. Based and active in Lyon, he graduated from the Beaux-Arts. Inspired by the precursors of modern art as well as contemporary artists, he draws his inspiration from his encounters and discoveries.
For Pierre, drawing is like a musical composition, where shapes and colors harmonize like chords. Each creation is the occasion for a subtle interplay between controlled research and the pleasure of the unexpected. In these moments of creative solitude, he refines his understanding of line and color, exploring the emotions they awaken.
His artistic practice is closely linked to his daily meditation. By cultivating this sustained attention, he discovers new dimensions of himself through the forms he gives to his works.
