Rudolf B Pekar is a retired ophthalmologist from Salzburg, Austria born in 1947.
He is a well-travelled artist having undertaken photographic trips to USA & Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, and the 'hippy trail' through Morocco, Algeria & Tunisia in a VW Beetle armed with his trusty Nikon and a Super 8 movie camera.
For many years he photographed on film developing & printing his images in his own darkroom but converted to a digital workspace in the early 2000's.
He has exhibited his travel photographs and nudes throughout Europe, in Salzburg and other Austrian cities as well as Florence, Milan & Rheims.
