Tristan Ligen, born in 1989, lives and works in France. An artist passionate about visual expression, he mainly uses ink on paper, pastel on paper and engraving to create impressionist works.
His academic career is rich and varied. From 2013 to 2015, Tristan obtained a Higher National Diploma in Plastic Expression in Monaco, preceded by a National Diploma in Plastic Art from 2011 to 2013, also in Monaco. Before that, he followed training in Space Design, obtaining a BTS in France from 2008 to 2010. These various training courses allowed him to develop solid technical mastery and a unique artistic sensitivity.
Tristan's works are characterized by an impressionist approach, where light and emotions take precedence. Through his ink and pastel drawings, he captures ephemeral moments, moving landscapes and scenes of everyday life with remarkable finesse and delicacy. His prints, meanwhile, explore textures and contrasts, offering a depth and visual richness that invite the viewer to attentive contemplation.
Ligen finds his inspiration in the play of light and changing atmospheres, always seeking to translate the present moment with touching authenticity. His work is an invitation to see the world from a new angle, to perceive the subtleties of nature and human emotions.
